I've traveled to many countries, but last month I visited Europe for the first time in my life (I've visited London, but that doesn't count - no offense :)). I visited my girlfriend's family in Cantabria, the northern region of Spain to a town called Santander. This region is possibly one of most beautiful places I've ever seen. I tried to do justice to this place in the pictures, but I don't think a camera can do this right - you have to be there. The next few pictures will be my pictures from Spain...
This is a beach in Santander, called El Camello (The Camel). Its called this because further out there is smaller piece of rock sticking out from the sea that looks like a camel - but this rock looked much more interesting. I was told this is more of a tourist spot, but its still new to me :)
BTW - everything they say about Spain is true - the lifestyle, the siesta and the food. Gotta love it..
